the previous icon came from the bigcartel storefront. this one is the mark the
site itself serves — fofos-logo-black.webp — which is the one that will stay
current when the branding moves.

it is TRANSPARENT, black on nothing, so committing it unchanged would have put a
black mark on a dark dock and shown nothing at all. flattened onto opaque white
instead, and the white travels with the file rather than being something the
theme is trusted to supply: the icon is drawn over a dark tile, a light
marketplace card and the plugin's own header, and only one of those would have
saved it.

trimmed before padding, because the source has the artwork inset in a square and
centring the file centres the wrong thing. 86% inset — the lower line is fine
strokes and stops being readable at dock size with any more air than that.

assets/README.md records where it came from and how to redo it. a binary is the
one thing a diff cannot show, and the last icon arrived with no note about its
source, which is why this one needed replacing rather than updating.

# Where the artwork came from
A binary is the one thing a diff cannot show you, so its provenance is written down instead.
## `icon.png` — 512×512, RGB, no alpha
Derived from the site's own wordmark:
```
https://newweb.fofosfluffybastards.com/fofos-logo-black.webp
```
300×300, and **transparent** — black artwork on nothing. That is the whole reason this file exists
rather than the webp being committed as-is: a black mark on transparency disappears against Officer's
dark theme, which is where the dock is.
So it is flattened onto **opaque white** and shipped that way. The white is part of the icon, not a
background the theme supplies, and it is white everywhere the icon is drawn — the dock tile, the
marketplace grid, the plugin's own header.
The steps, if it ever needs regenerating from a new wordmark:
1. `trim` the transparent margin — the source has the artwork sitting inside a square, so padding the
FILE rather than the artwork centres the wrong thing.
2. `resize` to 86% of 512, `fit: inside`. A wordmark with strokes this fine wants less air than a glyph
would; more padding and the lower line stops being readable at dock size.
3. Composite centred on white, `flatten`, `removeAlpha`.
`sharp` does all four. It is already in `plugins/node_modules` because av-club declares it.
## No `tile` in the manifest
Shipping `assets/icon.png` defaults the dock tile to `bare` — no coloured frame, the artwork fills the
tile. That is correct here and is why the manifest says nothing about it. `color` still matters: it is
the active glow and the tint in the plugins list, neither of which this file covers.
