pastilhasandClaude Opus 5 e9f1760f27 release 2026.08.26.01
22 commits. no schema change, no dependency change.

the reason it is being cut tonight rather than tomorrow: officerdev gained an
export that a SHIPPED plugin already imports. proxy-manager is in the catalogue
now and its ChatPanel imports ChatHeader, which exists only from 2ed47fa6. on a
host running 2026.08.25.01 the plugin installs, the frontend rebuild fails with
"No matching export for import ChatHeader", and the SPA keeps its previous
bundle — so the plugin looks installed and its route redirects to home. that
happened on fofos tonight and is what this release fixes.

the plan says explicitly not to restart officer-claude-code: the widened chat
credential lives there rather than in officer, and bouncing it ends every live
agent session including the one running the rollout. pending is the honest
report, not something to take.

edge stays excluded, unchanged and for unchanged reasons.

deploy/

One file per release, and one report per release.

deploy/
├── 2026.08.21.01.md the plan — what to run, in order, on which hosts
└── 2026.08.21.01.report.md what actually happened, written by the commander

The plan is written by hand before the release commit. The report is written by the deploy commander afterwards and pushed back here.

A release is a tag, deploy/<version>, and nothing else triggers a deploy — not a commit message, not a branch. A tag cannot be written into prose by accident, which a code word can and which every document about deploying does.

What marks a release deployed is LOCAL: $OFFICER_ROOT/data/deploys/<version>.done. Not the report. If the lock were the pushed report, a failed push would mean the release looked undeployed and the next tick would roll it out again — and pushes here fail for unrelated reasons. So the report is an artefact, valuable and not load-bearing.
