pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 b27dd7512b load chat transcripts as a tail window and lazy-load older on scroll-up
extremely long transcripts made bottom-anchoring the virtualized list unreliable
(thousands of unmeasured variable-height items = a huge estimate the scroll never
lands on). now GET /chat/sessions/:id takes limit+before and returns a windowed
slice plus total+offset. the chat opens on the last 20 messages, anchors to the
bottom instantly, and scrolling near the top pages in the next older window,
prepending it and pinning the previously-top message so the view stays put.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 3682269936 resolve /chat/<id> by scanning project groups and make session rows real links
deep-linking or refreshing /chat/<id> only has the id, so add loadClaudeSessionById
to scan every project group for the transcript and return its real cwd. the session
list page resolves on load from that, setting the cwd picker and resuming. session
rows are now <Link to=/chat/<id>> so clicking updates the url and flows through the
same resolve path.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 bb90dba952 jobs: wait for persisted layout before mounting the panel group
ResizablePanel reads defaultSize only at mount, so mounting during the
dashboard-state query's loading window froze the fallback sizes and ignored
the persisted layout that arrives after — layout survived in-app nav (query
cached) but not a full refresh. Gate the render on isLoaded so the group
mounts once, with the stored sizes.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 aa0cb733a5 jobs: persist the panel layout across reloads
The page backed WorkspaceLayout with local useState, so onLayoutChange
(fired on every resize) only updated ephemeral state — pane sizes reset
to the default split on reload. Back it with useDashboardState under
screens/jobs, like the other workspace routes, with a structural guard
that falls back to the default when a persisted layout's panel ids no
longer match PANEL_COMPONENTS.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 c1594594f5 soulseek: nav sections, search results subpanel, stable client deps
- split into nav (vertical section menu) + view panels via soulseek:section channel
- search view: history list + input, opens results subpanel for a past search
- search results load stored responses (no re-run), session-cached, ranked
- remove client from effect/callback deps (useClient is a fresh object per render)

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 b2fb6f148c replace hardcoded download job with download-media script capability
move video/audio downloads off the dedicated ReClip download lane onto the
generic script-job path:

- delete execute-download.ts, reclip-client.ts and the POST /jobs/download
endpoint; drop the 'download' mode from the pipeline_jobs enum (legacy rows
  tolerated)
- execute-script.ts: strip the @@officer:progress@@ sentinel from the log,
emit progress events, and isolate viewer/log writes (safeEmit/safeLog) so a
broadcast or log throw can't wedge the stdout pump
- pipeline-job-manager.ts: persist latest progress; guard sendToViewer sends
- ScriptJobDetail: render the two progress bars; DownloadJobDetail kept for
  legacy history rows
- TaskRunnerModal: ScriptRunner descends into the triggered directory
- VideoDownloadPanel: rewire startJob to the script-job path

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 459b8ab730 download job: restore the metadata phase — ReClip needs the title for filenames
Verified against live ReClip: POST /api/download with title:"" → a hash filename
(b5d04adc86.mp3); with title:"Me at the zoo" → "Me at the zoo.mp3". So ReClip
names the file from the title WE send (falling back to a hash) — it does not
self-name. The title is mandatory, which means a metadata pass is required.

Back to two phases:
1. metadata — fetch each item's /api/info (title + validity), keep survivors, skip
   errors.
2. download — download each survivor passing its title, so files land with real
   names; skip download errors.

Keeps the exact-urls[] input (Mix playlists can't drift) and the one-request-per-
item download. Progress is two counters again (Titles + Download); UI shows two
bars. ~2 requests/item is inherent to needing the title (per the user's call:
correctness over speed).

Verified two-phase filtering + title passthrough + skip-on-error with a mock.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 c55ec5884b download job: collapse to one phase (no metadata prefetch)
The job's two phases were a misread — the "count" phase is the client-side
playlist expansion (for the inline-vs-job decision, already done in the panel).
The job itself is just one download request per item.

Dropped the in-job metadata pass entirely:
- reclip-client: reclipDownloadOne no longer prefetches /api/info for a title —
ReClip names the file from the video title itself, so it's a single request
  per item.
- execute-download: one phase — expand the playlist, then /api/download each url,
skip failures. Progress is a single { done, failed, total, current } counter
(no meta/dl split); ~2× faster and downloads start right after expansion.
- UI (DownloadJobDetail + panel JobView): one "Downloaded" bar instead of two.

Verified: every item is attempted directly (no /api/info gate), skip-on-error
counts correct.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 bc1b799a27 jobs: download-job UI — panel decision screen + live progress + /jobs renderer
Front half of the download-job feature.

Panel (VideoDownloadPanel): after Fetch expands a playlist and the count is known,
a decision screen — "Found N items" → pick Audio/Video + subfolder → "Download all
as a job" (POST /jobs/download), or "fetch inline to pick individually" (the
existing card grid). A single video still goes straight to the inline card. The
job phase shows live two-phase progress (polled from the job) + a "View in Jobs"
link; it notes the job runs server-side so closing the panel is fine, and it
refreshes the browser as each file lands.

/jobs (DownloadJobDetail + JobsPage dispatch): a `download` job renders a compact
two-phase readout — Metadata and Download bars (processed/total, found/skipped and
saved/failed) + the current item — polled from the job's progress, with a Stop.

Executor tweak: phase-1 meta.done now counts kept (not processed) so both phases
read the same `(done+failed)/total`.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 0a8ec845ef web: music dock joins the layout flow — removes the nav-dock overlap hacks
The music dock was position:fixed, overlaying the bottom of the content, so the
nav dock needed a pile of hacks to dodge it: a hand-measured MUSIC_DOCK_HEIGHT
(72) constant, a presence flag, a translateY lift, and a matching hover-threshold
lift (via a ref) so it wouldn't slide away under the cursor. Fragile the moment
the music dock's height changed.

Now the dock is an in-flow bottom bar that reserves its own height:
- DashboardLayout is a flex column: the content region (flex-1, min-h-0) shrinks
when the music dock takes its space; MusicPlayerHost renders an in-flow bar
(shrink-0) instead of a fixed overlay.
- The nav Dock is absolute within the content region and measures its reveal/hide
boundary from that region's bottom edge (a boundaryRef) — so it always sits just
above whatever's at the bottom, music dock or not, with zero knowledge of it.
- Deleted MUSIC_DOCK_HEIGHT, musicDockPresent, the lift, and the transform hack.

Bonus: content at the very bottom is no longer hidden under the fixed dock.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 3de22a3166 rescan: refetch inactive item lists too (works from any page)
invalidateQueries only refetches mounted queries, so a rescan pressed anywhere
but the Tasks/Skills/… page just marked those lists stale — the new item wasn't
picked up until you opened that page. Pass refetchType: 'all' so every item
cache refreshes immediately, wherever the button is pressed.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 d317bfc983 dock: lift the nav-dock hide threshold when the music dock is present
The nav dock rides MUSIC_DOCK_HEIGHT higher while the music dock is up, but the
hide threshold was still measured from the bottom — so hovering the raised dock
read as past HIDE_THRESHOLD and it slid away under the cursor. Lift hideAt (and
the magnify gate) by MUSIC_DOCK_HEIGHT; the reveal trigger stays at the edge.
Also read musicDockPresent via a ref so the once-registered mousemove handler
reacts to music starting/stopping.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 059929aa59 system-monitor: Workspace/Panel layout with a scope list (bTop / pm2 / dockers)
/system-monitor is now a WorkspaceView (like /music): a left ScopeList panel
selects the scope over the 'monitor:scope' channel, the right MonitorMain panel
renders it. Three scopes:
- bTop — the existing system snapshot (CPU/mem/disks/top processes)
- pm2 processes — new GET /api/system-monitor/pm2 (pm2 jlist → name/status/cpu/
  mem/restarts/uptime table)
- dockers — new GET /api/system-monitor/docker (docker ps → container cards with
  state/status/image/ports)
Both new endpoints degrade gracefully to an error field. Persisted as
screens/system-monitor; owner-only.

Needs a restart (backend routes + rebundle) + hard-refresh to appear.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 35973a5505 activity: follow the agent's background work live + chat-event retention
"Activity" (placeholder name — jobs/tasks were taken) = watch background tasks
scroll in parallel with chat. Built DB-free; NOT restarted — deploy + test in
the morning.

- NDJSON progress contract (activity/progress.ts): capabilities append
{job,cap,phase,status,pct,detail,ts,...} lines; tolerant parser treats any
JSON object with phase/status as structured progress, else a raw log line.
- Backend (activity/router.ts, owner-only, path-guarded):
  - GET /api/activity/tasks — registry by scanning /tmp/claude-*/<cwd>/tasks/
*.output (harness run_in_background) + announced detached jobs.
  - POST /api/activity/announce {name,path} — register a detached (setsid) job's
log so it's followable too (the setsid case is on the critical path, since
the warm worker now makes plain run_in_background the default for heavy jobs).
  - GET /api/activity/stream?task=<id>|path=<abs> — SSE tail (poll + offset),
    emitting {kind:'line'|'progress'} with NDJSON parsed.
- Frontend /activity screen + Radio nav item: task list (active dot) → live tail
with a phase/pct progress header + raw log, following the /system-monitor pattern.
- Retention: startChatEventRetention() prunes chat_session_events >7d every 6h
(wired in bootstrap) so the durable queue stays bounded.

Verified headlessly (no restart): parseTailLine classification, and the scan
finds 53 real task output files. Endpoints + UI untested until deploy.

Deferred (see handoff): cross-device sync + OpenCode parity (both touch the
now-stable chat path — won't ship un-restart-tested); task:progress into chat.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 d1e19d1473 system-monitor: /system-monitor route (CPU/mem/disk/processes) + page titles
- Backend GET /api/system-monitor/stats: one snapshot — CPU overall + per-core
(two /proc/stat samples), memory + swap (/proc/meminfo), disks (df), load,
uptime, top-20 processes (ps). Owner-only via the account gate.
- Frontend /system-monitor screen: polls every 2s; CPU/Memory/Disks cards with
bars + per-core mini-bars, top-processes table. Nav dock "Monitor" item.
- Register /music and /system-monitor in usePageTitle RULES so the browser tab
and editable header title update on those routes (/music was missing too).

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 6fab49eddc music: /music uses the Workspace/Panel system (2 vertical panels)
Split the screen into two registered panel apps that coordinate via a
'music:cwd' panel channel, like /chat:
- music-browser (left): library selector, publishes the path.
- music-detail (right): renders the path — album tracklist, artist discography
sections, or a folder grid — and drives the app-wide player.
MusicScreen is now a WorkspaceView over a horizontal 2-panel layout (persisted as
screens/music), so the panels are resizable. Registered in AppRegistry.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 c3ed9158b3 music: /music route + nav dock item (Spotify-style page, v1)
A full-page music browser reusing the app-wide player + dock. Sidebar lists
libraries (1st level of ~/Music); main is a card-grid folder browse with rich
pages: albums show a header + tracklist, and artist folders render their album
cards grouped into discography sections (Studio Albums / Live / Compilation / …)
using /music/discography. Cards have hover-play; everything feeds useMusicPlayer.
Adds a green Music dock item (/music) to the default dock.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 3308e4e24d music: Music Player widget + app-wide player dock
The widget browses the /api/music/* library (search albums → tracklist) and hands
a queue to an app-wide player. The player (useMusicPlayer, useGlobal-backed) and
its site-wide bottom dock (MusicPlayerHost) live in the persistent DashboardLayout,
so playback survives route changes. Dock has cover/title/artist, drag-scrubbing
(SeekBar), volume (persisted), and prev/play/next/close. The nav Dock slides up by
MUSIC_DOCK_HEIGHT while the music dock is present.

brunorezioandClaude Opus 5 52ddf7df0e generate index.html's absolute URLs from PUBLIC_URL
index.html hardcoded the deployment's domain in eight places, so every instance
had to carry its own edit of the file — the only thing separating the rezio
branch from master.

The tags genuinely need absolute URLs. OpenGraph is fetched standalone by
crawlers, and Bun's HTML bundler treats a root-relative href as an asset to
resolve on disk, failing the build with "Could not resolve: /favicon.ico" —
external URLs are the only form it passes through untouched.

Bun's HTML import offers no substitution hook, so scripts/gen-index.ts swaps
__PUBLIC_URL__ for the value in .env and writes index.gen.html, which the server
imports. index.html is the tracked template and is now identical on every
deployment; index.gen.html is gitignored. predev/prestart run the generator, and
it is idempotent so --watch does not loop.

Substituting also fixes the manifest: an absolute URL puts its fetch in CORS
mode, which failed whenever the hardcoded domain was not the serving origin.

brunorezioandClaude Opus 5 1ac79f9c68 remove the onboarding flow and the accountMode leftover
Onboarding was dead in three layers:

- The OnboardingAdmin screen was only reachable from a route block in App.tsx
that has been commented out, so it never rendered. Its ServerTypeCard carried
accountMode ('organization' | 'single'), inherited from the codebase this was
based on and meaningless for a single-user platform.
- Two /onboarding-complete endpoints, one public and one protected, that no
frontend code called. Both read a server_config key that was never written, so
both answered false while the app's own path defaulted to true.
- HomeScreen gated on settings.onboarding.complete to show a welcome panel, and
seedHomeDir created an Onboarding folder from DATA_PATH/Onboarding and
/Onboarding_Admin — neither seed directory exists, so it only ever produced an
  empty folder.

Also drops the onboarding key from UserSettings and the now-empty home-header
panel from the default home layout.

brunorezioandClaude Opus 5 0d67e2af26 clear the remaining type errors
- DiscordAccount seeded DiscordStatus without its two nullable fields.
- bug-report typed reporter.name as string, but users.name is nullable; and the
Discord upload wrapped a Buffer directly in a Blob.
- Lucide icons take no `title` prop, so the sync spinner's tooltip moved to a
  wrapping span.
- DesktopView cast its dynamic import to a type that included `| null`.
- dock PUT cast the request body straight to string[]; it now rejects anything
that is not an array of strings instead of writing it to the database.
- buildZodSchema assembles a mutable record, since z.ZodRawShape is readonly in
  zod v4.
- The dev-server proxy forwards Bun's `string | Buffer` frames through a helper
  that satisfies WebSocket.send without copying.

bunx tsgo is now clean.

brunorezioandClaude Opus 5 1fa3a659bc restore the code editor screen, drop the dead theme picker, unshadow AppRegistry
Three unrelated type errors that each pointed at something actually broken:

- Dashboard.CodeEditor was deleted in ab03b17 ("Projects") while the
/code-editor route and the dock's Editor item kept pointing at it, so the
  route rendered undefined. Screen restored.

- Appearance.tsx imported 'themes', a workspace deleted in 0746844. Nothing
reads settings.appearance.colorTheme and no theme CSS survives, so the picker
was writing a value with no consumer. Removed it and the setting; colorMode
  stays, it is live.

- officerdev exported both a component and a type named AppRegistry, so
`import { AppRegistry }` resolved to the type and <AppRegistry /> failed to
typecheck. Renamed the Record type to AppRegistryMap.

Also declares "*.css" so side-effect stylesheet imports resolve.

brunorezioandClaude Opus 5 044aacf4d5 remove the dead multi-user surface
Officer is single-user: the server owner is the only account, created once by
/auth/bootstrap. Everything that existed to serve additional users was
unreachable, so it is gone rather than left looking like it does something.

Accounts: drop the invite / resend-invite / delete / list-users routes and the
Users settings screen, the inert /auth/signup handler, and the account
verification chain it fed (verify, resend-verification, VerifyScreen, the
UserInvite + VerifyAdmin + VerifyRegistration templates). /auth/verify-token
survives for password resets only, and now requires a reset-password token
rather than accepting any signed JWT.

Roles: drop the users.role column and the four-value USER_ROLES enum. The
permissions table granted every role identical methods, and every
role === 'Super Admin' check was permanently true. The JWT no longer carries a
role claim.

Sandbox: remove sidecar/sandbox.ts and its five call sites. bwrap was selected
only for non-Super-Admin users, so it never ran. It was also not a usable agent
jail as written — --share-net, the project root (with .env) bound read-only,
and runuser dropping to the server's own uid. Rebuilding it for agent
containment would be a different construction, and git history keeps this one.

getHomeDir keeps its DATA_PATH meaning; the new getOwnerHomeDir resolves the
owner's real login home, which is what terminals, chats and task runs use.

Collapse the two-phase bootstrap (email a verification link → verify screen) into

The invite flow (/verify, /verify-token) is untouched.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 669692355d chat: rename the pi-mono provider router + purge residual pi names (Stage 4b/2)
Renames the AI-harness/provider settings router into the chat namespace and
clears the remaining "pi" identifiers from the chat stack.

- server-settings/pi-mono.ts → chat-providers.ts; piMonoRouter → chatProvidersRouter;
  route /server-settings/pi-mono → /server-settings/chat-providers (+ all callers)
- piId → providerId (PROVIDERS map + AIHarnessesSection UI), PiProvider → ChatProvider,
  PI_MONO_* query keys → CHAT_PROVIDERS_*, installPiMono → installAgent
- data-path: PI_CONFIG_DIR → AGENT_CONFIG_DIR (path ~/.pi/agent unchanged);
  drop dead getPiMonoDir/getPiMonoSessionDir exports
- settings: flip the vestigial defaultProvider literal 'pi' → 'chat' (never read;
only defaultModel drives behavior); access-policy config key 'pi-access-policy'
  → 'chat-access-policy'
- misc: ModelSelector fallback label, TaskDefaults model grouping, CapabilityPage
chat var, a stale stream-parser comment

Intentionally left (genuine external `pi`/opencode references, not ours to rename):
the `pi` binary install/version flow (@mariozechner/pi-coding-agent, `which pi`),
the ~/.pi/agent config path, PI_TOOLS_DIRS/PI_SEARXNG_URL runtime env-var contract,
TOOL.md `targets: pi` metadata, and the "Pi Mono" installer UI label.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 49df1c0b0c chat: rename the pi chat transport + model list to chat (Stage 4b/1)
Pure rename, no behavior change. Moves the misnamed "pi" chat harness into the
chat namespace:

- api/pi/{websocket,session-manager,types,logger,list-models} → api/chat/
- merge api/pi/rest.ts into api/chat/chat.ts (/pi/models → /chat/models,
  /pi/stt → /chat/stt); drop the piRestRouter mount
- PiEvent → ChatEvent, piWebsocket → chatWebsocket, listPiModels → listChatModels
- WS route /api/pi/chat/ws → /api/chat/ws, provider tag 'pi' → 'chat'
- frontend: useChat/useAudioRecording URLs, usePiModels→useModels /
  useVisiblePiModels→useVisibleModels / useEnabledPiModels→useEnabledModels,
  'PI_MODELS' query key → 'CHAT_MODELS', attachments provider 'pi-mono' → 'chat'

The /pi-mono provider/harness settings router is renamed separately (next commit).
Note: the WS route change requires the mobile app to point at /api/chat/ws.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 70555c8d71 chat: retire the old saved-session store (Stage 4a)
Deletes all session persistence that isn't Claude's native transcript store, per
the "only harness-native session management survives" rule.

Backend: delete api/pi/storage.ts (meta.json+messages.json file store), the
api/saved-sessions router (+ unmount), the /pi/sessions REST endpoints, and the
storage.save/loadSession calls in the chat WS handler (in-memory session-manager
stays for live turns; no disk persistence — Claude's transcript is the record).
Also drops the Postgres saved_sessions layer: schema/chat.ts, queries/saved-sessions.ts,
its types and re-exports.

Frontend: delete state/useSavedSessions, ChatList, and the ChatHistory Widget
(all pure saved-session UI); slim ChatHeader to a label; strip the auto-load-latest
+ Save wiring from ChatPanelWrapper and ChatDetailPanel; drop the old resume path
from useChat and SessionListPage; remove the /chat/saved/:id route and the
useInitialData prefetch.

Behavior removed (intended): the Save-session button, email/project panels
auto-resuming the last chat, and /chat/saved/:id. /chat itself is unchanged —
already fully on Claude transcripts. The orphaned saved_sessions Postgres table
is dropped on the next `bun db:push`.

(ChatPanelWrapper) that the email layout uses. Imported nowhere.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 6f7bf8df42 remove the Automation page
Deletes the Automation and NewAutomation screens, their /automation and
/new-automation routes, the Dashboard barrel exports, the dock item (+ default
dock path), and the page-title rule. TaskRunnerModal is kept — the file browser
still uses it to run tasks on files.

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 f4cf20d378 header: per-route page titles + a centered, click-to-rename tab title
Each dashboard route now sets its own document.title (route→title map in
usePageTitleSync, mounted in DashboardLayout). The title also renders centered in
the top header; clicking it edits inline and updates the browser tab live —
per-tab only, reset on navigation/refresh (not persisted).

pastilhasandClaude Opus 4.8 58373c9d59 email: group messages into conversations (Gmail-style threading)
Hybrid grouping via a new thread_id column: new mail threads exactly on
References/In-Reply-To (id is sha1(Message-Id), so a referenced id hashes to
the ancestor's own id); already-synced mail is backfilled with a
normalized-subject + counterpart key. Folder views collapse to one row per
thread with a count badge; the reader shows the thread as a collapsible stack.
