From 5a4fcd5a24bbb70662fca265e5cbc1fe0dea6378 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Andr=C3=A9=20Padez?= Date: Tue, 25 Aug 2026 06:40:02 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] the armed report is two sentences, then two questions MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit what a good one reads like: all 8 memos are transcribed into data/, the loop is watching for new ones, and it transcribes new recordings as soon as they land. what it must not read like: keyed by content hash in state/ledger.tsv so renames do not redo work, transcripts never go back into the watched folder, no classification and no notifications. that is the mechanics, and the owner did not ask. somebody who wants the mechanics will ask for them, and then it can be explained properly. nobody has ever wanted them in the sentence that tells them the thing is running. then the two questions, given as options rather than left to invent: what next — classification, dispatching, both, or leave it running and come back to it. and whether to be notified — every action, a count every so often or at a time of day, none for now, or talk about it. with the constraint that will otherwise bite: AskUserQuestion takes at most FOUR options, so "let's talk about it" is one of the four rather than a fifth.
