From 0fe02c84af43dd1f4e17d6b5ed59dd450cdc0d5f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Andr=C3=A9=20Padez?= Date: Tue, 25 Aug 2026 05:29:20 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] a commander notices, reports, and stops MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit asked to run a task, it hit an error, decided the platform was emitting invalid JSON, and started editing the server to fix it. it was wrong about the cause and it should not have been looking either way. so: never change the platform. not its code, not its config, not a plugin, not a task, and not to work around a bug it has just found. it runs ON this machine; it does not maintain it. a fix that looked obvious at four in the morning is exactly the kind that breaks something it cannot see. when something is genuinely wrong, stop and write it down — what was called, what came back, what was expected — then tell the owner in one line and wait. noticing precisely is the job. fixing is the owner's. and not a workaround either: a workaround hides the fault, and the next person to look finds a commander doing something strange for a reason nobody recorded.
