Re-embeds OffScale_Text.png after the brand-colour correction upstream in
OfficerIcons — the gold in the asset is now #FECF03, matching root.accent
exactly rather than approximately.
The new source has a different aspect ratio (830x128 against 773x128), so
the divisor in the Image width binding moves with it; left alone the
wordmark would render squashed. Noted inline so a future asset swap
doesn't miss it.
Uses the plain variant rather than OffScale_Text_Light.png: the plain one
pairs the gold with near-white (#FEFEFE), the Light variant with dark
brown (#312D23) for light backgrounds. The panel is dark.

The #FCC001 sample was accurate — the artwork was off-brand, and the icon
was recoloured to #FECF03 afterwards. The earlier note read as though
sampling had produced a wrong number, which is not what happened.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Replaces #FCC001, which was measured off the hexagons in
OffScaleAppIcon.png. Sampling was the wrong approach: PNG antialiasing and
the icon's own shading make any eyedropper result an approximation of the
brand value rather than the value itself. #FECF03 (hue 48.8deg) is the
canonical one.
All three yellows resolve through root.accent — the bar's tailnet label,
the active connection name, and the IP/DNS subtitle — so this is a single
value. The wordmark asset is unaffected.

- Replace the mark with OffScaleAppIcon.png, run through the same pipeline
as before: trim the transparent margin, pad to square, scale to 256x256
(654 KB -> 62 KB). One asset, two render sites.
- Retune the accent to #FCC001, the modal hexagon fill of the new icon.
Sampled from fully-opaque pixels only — the yellows cluster at
252,192-196,1-2, so this is the flat colour and not an antialiased edge.
(`magick -alpha off` flattens onto black and gives a wrong answer here.)
Replaces #FAE204 from the previous logo, which was noticeably greener.
All three yellows — the bar's tailnet label, the active connection name,
and the IP/DNS subtitle — resolve through root.accent, so this is one
value.
- Hold the bar mark at 32px now that shell base-size is 24 rather than 20.
Every size in the shell is a multiple of fontScale, so raising base-size
to enlarge the stock bar icons would have scaled this one identically and
left the relative gap unchanged; the icon/canvas/slot values are scaled
down to compensate.

The label was a plain Text with its own MouseArea, which is not registered
in bar.clickTargets. While a panel is open, KeyboardPanel puts a
full-screen overlay above everything and forwards clicks landing in the
bar strip only to registered targets — so a left click opened the panel
and then had the same click treated as "outside", dismissing it. It
looked like nothing happened. Right click was unaffected because
toggleOffscale() never involves the panel.
Use a WidgetButton instead: it registers itself via syncClickRegistration()
and renders the label text natively, so both the Text and the MouseArea
go away. Left toggles the panel, right toggles Offscale, middle refreshes
— the same three buttons as the icon, so the widget reads as one target.
`dimmed` handles the inactive state rather than darkening the colour,
since Qt.darker on yellow shifts the hue to olive.

Adds a label to the left of the mark naming the tailnet the selected
profile belongs to: the second-from-last label of the domain, so
offscale.pastilhas.dev reads "pastilhas" and headscale.pertento.ai reads
"pertento". Taking the second-level domain rather than a fixed index keeps
the distinctive part if a tailnet ever has four labels.
Read from the accounts list the service already polls, so no extra
process runs for it.
BarIconButton is icon-only by design (labelVisible: false, fixedWidth:
slotSize, and its `text` feeds a glyph rather than a label), so the label
could not live inside it — the bar widget is now a Row of label + button,
and its footprint comes from the row.
Coloured with the brand yellow, dimmed by opacity rather than by
darkening when Tailscale is off: Qt.darker on yellow shifts the hue to
olive instead of quietening it.

- Label each connection with its tailnet and account rather than the
nickname alone. `tailscale switch --list --json` carries both, and on a
multi-tailnet setup the nickname is the least useful field — "andre"
says nothing about which tailnet you would be switching to. Renders as
"headscale.pertento.ai (andre)", falling back through tailnet, then
account, then profile id when a field is missing.
- Mark the active connection with colour instead of a filled background:
brand yellow on its label, currentFill cleared. The theme sets
selected-border-width to 0, so clearing the fill leaves nothing drawn.
Hover still highlights through `fill`, so the row keeps its affordance.
Exit-node and Mullvad-region rows are untouched and still fill.
- Sort the active connection to the top. Done in parseAccounts rather
than at render time: the keyboard cursor indexes into
tailscale.accounts, so sorting only in the view would leave j/k acting
on a different row than the highlighted one. Array.sort is stable, so
the remaining profiles keep the CLI's order.

- Colour the IP / DNS subtitle under each machine with the logo yellow
(#FAE204, sampled as the dominant opaque colour of offscale-logo.png).
Stock draws that line through `dim` = Qt.darker(foreground, 1.55), which
on yellow shifts the hue to olive (#A19203) rather than quietening it, so
it takes the flat accent instead. Everything else keeps the themed
foreground: section headers, machine names, account names and all the
iconography.
- Add OffscaleToggle.qml so the switch reads white when on. The stock
ToggleSwitch resolves its checked colours through
Style.selectedStateColor / selectedFillFor, which read [controls]
selected-color; Ethereal sets that to a literal "#ffcead" and
Style.resolveStateColor returns literals verbatim, ignoring the
foreground and accent properties entirely. No property on the stock
switch can reach it, and overriding the token globally would recolour
every selected state in the shell. The copy differs only in the checked
state and needs an explicit `import qs.Ui`, which the original gets
implicitly by living inside that module.

Forked from omarchy.tailscale at the packaged commit (omarchy-dev
4.0.0.r1744.gf002044). The `tailscale` branch holds the pristine upstream
subtree history so upstream changes can still be merged in; `master` is
this fork.
- Rename the plugin to pastilhas.offscale: manifest id/name, moduleName
and ipcTarget, and display strings. Deliberately NOT renamed: the
lowercase "tailscale" CLI invocations, the TailscaleIPs/TailscaleIPv6
JSON fields from `tailscale status --json`, and
authorizeTailscaleOperator. Renaming those loads fine but silently
breaks peer parsing.
- TailscaleIcon.qml -> OffscaleIcon.qml, now rendering offscale-logo.png
instead of the 3x3 dot grid, keeping the crossed/warning states.
- Add OffscaleHero.qml: a copy of qs.Ui.PanelHero with a titleComponent
slot, so the wordmark (offscale-text.png) can replace the title text.
Otherwise byte-identical to the original, so it stays diffable.
- Drop the cycling hero phrases entirely - the array, the 2.8s timer and
the metaOpacity fade.
- Show the local machine as a PeerRow of its own, so it gets the same
layout and copy menu as tailnet peers. Adds `navigable` to PeerRow so
that row stays out of the peers keyboard cursor.
- Enlarge the bar icon: BarIconButton pins its icon to opticalCanvas, so
opticalSize/slotSize are overridden alongside iconSize.

Every toggle you could only reach by mouse or panel hotkey is now
scriptable through omarchy-shell:
- omarchy.bluetooth toggleBluetooth — the radio (was right-click / B)
- omarchy.network toggleNetwork — Wi-Fi on/off (was W in the panel)
- omarchy.tailscale toggleTailscale — the connection as one call,
matching the widget's right-click, instead of separate up/down
- omarchy.clock toggleWeekStart — calendar week start (was W)
- shell toggleBarTransparency — the bar background (was manage UI only)
Bluetooth and network follow the power/monitor pattern: manageIpc: false
so the panel owns the target's single IpcHandler and can extend it past
the inherited lifecycle methods.

* Add Tailscale header on/off toggle
* Address Tailscale toggle review feedback
* Hide Tailscale tooltip while busy
* Keep Tailscale labels clear of header toggle
* Extract the switch from Toggle into a reusable ToggleSwitch
Toggle rendered its own track and knob inline, so anything else wanting a
switch had to copy the geometry. Pull it into Ui/ToggleSwitch.qml and let
Toggle compose it, and give PanelHero a trailingControl slot so a hero can
pin a control to its trailing edge without the caller doing the layout.
The switch draws its cursor as a ring outside the track: themes give normal
chrome a stronger border than hover-cursor, which is right for controls that
are borderless at rest but would make a bordered track go fainter under the
cursor.

* Keep the panel cursor on the virtual header section
clampCursor resets focusSection whenever it is not in visibleSections, but
"header" is virtual and never appears there. Any refresh of the underlying
model therefore threw the cursor off the hero toggle: muting republishes the
PipeWire snapshot, and toggling the Bluetooth adapter empties and refills the
device lists. moveCursor already special-cases "header"; clampCursor now does
too.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* Toggle panel heroes with a switch instead of the status icon
The hero icon doubled as the on/off control, which was invisible as an
affordance and made the icon carry two jobs at once. Give Tailscale, Dropbox,
Bluetooth, Audio, and Network a ToggleSwitch on the trailing edge of the hero
and leave the icon to report status. The switch is the header's only cursor
target, so the keyboard reaches it the same way the mouse does.
Dropping the icon's focus ring also drops heroRingPad, which lets each hero
line up with the rows beneath it. Network's link detail moves inline after the
name -- "Ethernet (2.5gbit)" -- since the pill crowded the switch.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* Make the network hero switch honestly a Wi-Fi switch
The switch reads and writes Networking.wifiEnabled, but its tooltip claimed to
turn "network" on and off whenever Ethernet was the active connection. A click
asserted nothing; a switch asserts state, so on a wired machine with the radio
off it sat there reading "off" beside a perfectly live Ethernet connection.
Say Wi-Fi, and only offer the switch when there is a radio to switch.
headerActionCount follows the same condition so the keyboard cannot reach a
control that is not there.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* Stop the header cursor claiming an absent switch
The switch hides when the thing it toggles is unavailable -- no Tailscale CLI,
no Dropbox CLI, no Wi-Fi radio -- but "header" stayed reachable, so the cursor
could sit on a target that never rendered. The old clickable icon was always on
screen, so there was always something to highlight.
"header" stays navigable and Enter still no-ops safely; the cursor just stops
claiming a spot that is not there.

* Wrap the gallery's switch caption
The caption sat unbounded inside the switch row. The gallery has a 560px
minimum width, horizontal scrolling off, and clipping on, so at that size the
end of the line was simply unreachable. Move it below the row and wrap it, the
way every other description in the gallery already does.

* Send files to a tailnet machine with Taildrop
The panel gets a send button next to the copy one on every machine that
Tailscale grades as a Taildrop target, and `s` does the same from the
keyboard. Picking runs through the XDG portal chooser, so it looks like
the file dialog every other app opens.

* Save incoming Taildrop files and say so
Linux keeps Taildrop files in the daemon's inbox until someone asks for
them, so nothing arrived until you ran `tailscale file get` by hand. A
user service now stages each delivery next to the downloads directory,
hands it over under a free name, and announces it — with a preview when
it's an image, and a click to open it.

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01TJQJfHXXApUk6En8EZisHg
* Float every portal dialog, not just the titled ones
The portal only ever shows dialogs, and the title regex missed any
chooser an app names something else — ours included.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01TJQJfHXXApUk6En8EZisHg
* Re-run the Taildrop enable now that the unit ships
The unit was never installed to /usr/lib/systemd/user/, so the enable had
nothing to act on and machines that already ran the migration carry a marker
for a no-op. Rename it so they get a working pass, and report what systemctl
says instead of a bare failure line.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* Wait for the file chooser on the connection that asked for it
The portal answers a request with a Response signal directed at the connection
that made it, and dbus-daemon delivers directed signals only to that
connection. gdbus monitor registers with AddMatch rather than BecomeMonitor, so
it never saw the reply: every pick left omarchy-file-select blocked on a read
that could not arrive, taking omarchy-tailscale-send down with it before it
reached either its notification or the transfer.
Make the call and wait for the signal on one connection, and give up after ten
minutes so an unanswered dialog cannot strand the caller.
Drop the "Sending to" notification while here, so a send reports once.

* Mark Taildrop notifications with the panel's send glyph
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* Stop a hung tailscale poll from freezing the panel
Each poll is skipped while its own process is still running, so one that never
exits leaves the panel showing whatever it last read, for good: the peer list
keeps a woken machine missing, and opening the panel cannot help because open
runs the same refresh that hits the same guard.
Reap anything still running fifteen seconds after a refresh, well inside the
thirty second interval, so the next tick starts clean.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* Place a moved widget where an added one lands
'move omarchy.media left' named a section, not a slot, but the section went
through as an explicit target, which resolves a missing index by appending. The
widget landed on the far end of the row instead of after the section anchor
where 'add' puts it.
Its test has never run: the assertion covering this went in four hours after an
unrelated layout change had already stopped the file, and the runner stops the
whole suite at the first failure.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* Keep the config test from failing on things it is not about
The center layout assertion pinned the whole row, so parking the indicators
left of the clock broke a test named for update sitting next to weather. Assert
that adjacency instead.
The package-defaults check reads PKGBUILDs from the omarchy-pkgs repo and blew
up with a traceback wherever that is not a sibling checkout. Skip it when the
checkout is absent, honour OMARCHY_PKGS_ROOT when it is somewhere else, and
keep failing when it is present and wrong.
Between them these stopped the suite eighty files early.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* Make the file chooser a Python command rather than a bash host for one
The portal work was a heredoc wedged inside a bash script that existed only to
parse two flags. Drop the host: argparse covers the flags, and the file says at
the top why it is the one command here not written in bash.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* Tell a chooser that never opened apart from one that was dismissed
Three fixes from review:
The poll watchdog rearmed on every refresh, so a refresh interval shorter than
its timeout — the setting goes down to five seconds — pushed the deadline ahead
of a hung process forever. Arm it on the launch that needs watching and leave
it alone.
omarchy-file-select exited 1 both for nothing picked and for a chooser that
could not run, and omarchy-tailscale-send read it through a process
substitution, which drops the status anyway. A session bus that was not there
looked exactly like someone changing their mind. Separate the two exits and
read them with a command substitution.
Delivery picked a free name and then renamed, which overwrites anything that
takes the name in between. Link to the name instead: link(2) refuses one that
is taken, so the check and the claim are the same step.

Each panel's hero on/off toggle (Tailscale, Dropbox Wi-Fi, Bluetooth,
network, audio mute) now has a reachable "header" cursor section, a focus
ring around the hero icon, Enter/Space activation, a letter shortcut, and
hover parity. The hero is inset by heroRingPad so the ring stays inside
the Flickable/ScrollView clip box instead of being cut off.
Bluetooth and audio get a virtual "header" section above their device
sections, so the adapter/mute can be toggled by keyboard even when no
device rows exist. Network repurposes its previously dead header section.
For the PanelHero-based panels (Tailscale, Dropbox), route panel state
through the wrapper's `header` id: inside a PanelHero iconComponent `root`
resolves to PanelHero, not the Panel, so `root.headerHasCursor` and
`root.setHeaderCursor()` silently referenced the wrong object.

The hero icon is now the optimistic on/off toggle with a tooltip,
replacing the connect block and the progress lines beneath the hero.
The disconnected cross is drawn grey rather than red, and action
errors expire after a couple of seconds instead of sticking forever.

The `Bar` uses a `Repeater` when building out the models. This has the
effect of marshalling the configuration, and causing JSON arrays to
become sequence wrappers.
A couple of the plugins had been checking for the existence of array
values with `Array.isArray`, which fails for the sequence wrappers,
causing the values to be ignored. This breaks associated functionality
(the "hide" and "pin" actions in the systray had stopped working, as had
exit node selection in Tailscale).
Switching the guards to use `instanceof Array` works correctly for
sequence values (as well as arrays).
